The Tri City SWAT Team will be hosting a 3 day “Cold Weather Sniper Ops” course through Precision Rifle Workshop at the Scott County Regional Training Facility (17706 Valley View Dr, Jordan, MN 55352) February 5th-7th, 2020. This course is a more advanced sniper course which will have lecture, range and fieldcraft exercises.  The course is meant to prepare SWAT Snipers for an extended call where rotating personnel is not an option. The general timeline for the course is:

Day 1: 2-3 hours of lecture then range time at the Scale Facility

Day 2: Range time and fieldcraft exercises at the Scale Facility

Day 3: Fieldcraft Exercises at an offsite location in Scott County

The needed prerequisite is to have gone through a basic sniper course. The cost for this training is $450.00.  There are 7 spots remaining in the class.

I have also attached the 2020 flyer to this email.  In the registration page on the website, the course description says there is a long distance range portion.  This was not available and will not be a part of the training.

The deadline for registration is January 15th, 2020
