The Five and a Half Day Basic Tactical Operators Course Sponsored by the St Cloud Police Department and is designed for the entry level Tactical Officer or Operator or the currently operational officer that has not been to an updated swat course for several years. The course focuses on the basics of working in the team environment, concentrating on tactical team skills, operations and concepts. Operational scouting, Mission planning, variable Operational concepts for the Kinetic tactical environment, Leadership, Asymmetric thinking and team work are emphasized during the entire week with extensive FTX’s and experiential exercises addressing new tactical concepts. This is a very challenging but rewarding course for anyone that attends. Participants should have a higher degree of operation and proficiency with their hand guns and rifles (or sub-guns) prior to attending the course. Upon registering participants will receive “Joining Orders” for equipment requirements, needs and location specifics for the course.
