The Five Day Basic Tactical Operators Course Sponsored by the St Cloud Police Department and is designed for the entry level Tactical Officer or Operator or the currently operational officer that has not been to an updated swat course for several years. The course focuses on the basics of working in the team environment, concentrating on tactical team basics and skills, operations, and concepts as well as team composition and dynamics. Operational scouting, Mission planning, variable Operational concepts for the Kinetic tactical environment, Leadership, Asymmetric thinking and teamwork are emphasized during the entire week with extensive FTX’s and experiential based exercises addressing current and new tactical concepts and thinking.

This is a very challenging but rewarding course for anyone that attends. Participants should have a higher degree of operation and proficiency with their handguns and rifles (or sub-guns) prior to attending the course. Upon registering participants will receive “Joining Orders” for equipment requirements, needs and location specific for the course.
