12-HOUR SWAT VISA COURSE (ND & MN POST APPROVED)
The Red River Valley SWAT Team is once again providing a 12 hour Vehicle Pinning, Open Air Takedown, and Tactical Apprehension Course designed to provide officers and tactical operators with practical concepts and hands-on training related to vehicle containment operations, suspect apprehensions, and rescue considerations in dynamic environments. This course is designed to provide students with foundational and advanced concepts related to vehicle based tactical operations, communication, movement, and scenario-based problem solving. The successful completion of this course is not meant to be all encompassing and does not suggest that an operator is fully competent in all tactical vehicle operations. The fundamental skills this class will focus on are:
Vehicle Pinning and Tactical Apprehension Concepts
Vehicle Operations and Tactical Considerations
Operational Planning and Scenario-Based Training
The method of instruction will include limited classroom discussion and demonstrations, with the majority of the training dedicated to hands-on practical exercises. Class size is limited so please register early. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the course or need additional information.
